WELSH, Marjorie Isobel (nee POWER) -
June 30, 1930 – December 31, 2023
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Marjorie Welsh at the age of 93.
Marjorie was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Kenneth.
A loving mother of John and Lorraine (Steven). Best Mom Ever!
She was predeceased by her parents, Charlotte and Stephen Power and the youngest of eight children all predeceased, Jeffrey, Dorothy (Babe), Fred, Ken, Irene, Ernie and John.
She was extremely proud of her siblings and family and many nieces and nephews. She was dedicated to her work at Bell Canada for many years.
When she retired from Bell Canada she volunteered at Knob Hill Public School. She loved every minute of it.
She had many happy times at the cottage on Wasaga Beach every summer and then the last 42 years at the cottage on Lake Dalrymple. One of her best attributes was her humor.
She loved to tell jokes and make people feel at ease.
The family would like to thank Union Villa for the great care they gave her.
