BAIN, Peter John (Ian)  - It is with great sadness that the family of Ian Bain announces his passing on Saturday, November 4th, 2017.

Ian is lovingly remembered by Vivien, his wife of 40 years and their children Bradley, Warren and Mikaela.

He will be dearly missed by cousins Susan, Julie and Brandon.

Ian was born in Dumbarton, Scotland in 1945 and moved to Canada with his late brother David, in 1960. He proudly celebrated a 44 year career with the Toronto Star.

Ian was hard working, kind, honest and loved to golf and laugh.

A private service was held.

If desired, donations to Shepherd Lodge would be appreciated.
