NEWMAN, Elizabeth (Betty) - Died November 14, 2017, aged 91 years.
Already sorely missed by her family; cherished son Stephen and his wife Cathy; much loved sister Jean Wison and her family; dear grandson Aaron Newman and great-grandson Tyler Newman.
Predeceased by son Bill Jr. Betty was born, 1926, in the southeast end of Toronto with a portion of her childhood spent in Scotland.
In 1946, just like many other young Canadians resuming their lives after serving on behalf of Canada in World War II, Betty and her new beloved husband Bill (predeceased 2015), bought the home they owned for 70 years in Scarborough.
There, she worked in manufacturing, kept a spotless, cozy home and cared for her family.
Betty was an extraordinarily devoted wife and mother, loyal and fun friend, superb dancer and world class champion shopper! Commitment of ashes and celebration of life to be conducted in the Spring.
