RANKINE, Douglas John - Douglas John Rankine, born on April 9, 1948 in Scarborough, ON to the late Anita and the late Douglas, passed away at age 70 on June 5, 2018 in Oshawa, ON.
Doug was the beloved husband and best friend of Kate. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ron and father-in-law, Peter Brouwer.
Doug is survived by his daughters, Kristine (Justin Picard) and Nicole (Jake Locicero); brothers, John, Vic, and Chris; sisters-in-law Deb, Sheryl and Caryn; and brother-in-law Bill. Doug is also survived by his mother-in-law Helen Brouwer and Kate's brothers and sisters. Doug was the loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews and devoted grandfather of Cal and Reeve, whom he adored.
The family invites donations in Doug's name to Feed the Need in Durham.
