DOWNEY, Randolph Elliot - It is with heartfelt loss that we announce the passing of Randolph, better known as "Bo Diddley" age 65, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on July 26, 1955.
Bo Diddley passed away on May 31, 2021 from a heart attack.
He spent the first seventeen years of his life in North Preston and Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Bo Diddley moved to Toronto with his aunt Quincie and her family in 1972 to be closer to his mother.

TINTOR, George - (1957 -2021) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Tintor at 64 years of age on May 30, 2021.
George was born in Toronto on May 6, 1957 into a hardworking and loving Serbian immigrant family who instilled in him the fundamental values which influenced his life. Values and lessons of hard work, honesty, ruthless integrity and an ability to face adversity and challenges with calm, stoic bravery.
He took those lessons to heart, striving for achievement in both his professional and personal life. George completed his undergraduate degree in Finance at the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA at Columbia University in New York. Whilst at Penn, he was a member of the Penn men’s rowing team who dominated the Ivy League under the leadership of legendary Penn coach Ted Nash in the late 1970s.

STRANGES, Giulietta (Julie) Rosa - Giulietta ("Julie") Rosa Stranges, at the age of 98, peacefully, at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, in Grimsby, after a long illness.
Giulietta was the youngest child of the late Rocco and Maria Stranges.
All her siblings are deceased: beloved sister of Maddalena (George) Shuker and Pasqualino (Blanche) Strange; half-sister of Benoit Strange (with whom she grew up) and of Giuseppe and Antonio Esposito, of Italy.
She leaves behind her grieving niece and goddaughter, Gloria (Robert) Clothier, as well as her other godchild (and grandnephew), Stephen Clothier, all of Grimsby.
Dear aunt of Judy Bandak, of Sarnia; grandaunt of Sherry Payne and Brenda Robinson, both of Sarnia, and Christopher Bandak, of Kleinburg. In addition to many great-grandnephews and nieces (notably, Madeline and George Bandak), she had numerous cousins in Ontario, Italy, and Australia.

FRAZER, Cindy - On Sunday, May 30, 2021, after a fearless seven month battle with stage four endometrial cancer, Yung Yi Cindy Frazer passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family.
With incredible grace and poise she approached this journey with the utmost strength and courage.
At nine years old, Yung Yi immigrated to Canada with her family from Daegu, South Korea.
Industrious and determined in her pursuit of excellence, she made many meaningful contributions in her professional career (Canada Revenue Agency, Sanofi-Aventis, and CSL Behring) and volunteer activities (Board of Directors with the Toronto Children's Chorus).

DAVIDSON, Bryon Donald - It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Bryon, at his home in Toronto, on Sunday, May 30, 2021, in his 70th year.
Bryon was born in Drumheller, Alberta, and moved to Ontario with his mother and father in 1957.
Predeceased by his mother Bernice (2017), his father Thomas (2020) and brother Christopher (2008).
Bryon leaves behind his siblings Thomas Jr. (Karen), Beverly, Deborah (Ron) and Katherine.
Nieces and nephews Dawn, Megan, Crystal, Tabitha, Zachary, Amanda, Stephanie and Andrea, along with many great-nieces and nephews.

MOORE, John Francis - Passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, Picton, John Francis Moore, at the age of 60.
Beloved son of the late Jean and Neil Moore.
Loving brother of Alex (Michelle), Garfield and Marilyn Moore.
Predeceased by his brother Brad Moore. Fondly remembered by his nieces Melanie and Amy. John was a talented artist, graphic artist and web designer who worked in television and the gaming industry.
His work took him to Chicago, New York, San Jose, London and finally Las Vegas.
He had a deep passion for music and enjoyed playing bass guitar, guitar and keyboards.

SANDIFORD, Marilyn "Lyn" - On May 30, 2021, our sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Marilyn "Lyn" Sandiford left us.
She leaves in sorrow her sister Aileen Stoneman, brother George William Haworth, son Bob Sandiford and his wife Marg, daughter Elizabeth Goetz and her husband Tom, grandchildren Adam, Maegan, Ashley, Joseph, Jacob, and Matthew, and great-grandchildren Macy, Max, Robin, Lena, Eva, Bodhi, and Anja.
Lyn lost her husband Jack, life partner and travel buddy, in 1996.
In 2017, Lyn suffered a severe head injury, and her health slowly declined, ending sorrowfully last Sunday.

Darren Williams, founder of Nomad Express and Xynergy Express Couriers passed away suddenly May 30, 2021.
Worked his way up from bicycling mail and packages around downtown Toronto to founding his own company.
Many bicycle couriers would have known Darren in his youth.
He had just turned 51 years old when he accidently died.
Darren was proud of his Japanese and Potawatomi heritage.
His father was the late Mitz Tanaka of Toronto and Gail Williams of Moose Deer Point.

Beloved wife of Ronald Hamilton for 47 years and loving mother to David Hamilton, Kristine Newberry and daughter-in-law Anna Hamilton.
Loved by her grandchildren Terri Newberry, Nathan Hamilton, Laci Peters, Craig Peters and Samantha Hamilton, Jean is predeceased by her parents, brother Donald Milwain, sister Margaret Lyon, survived by her brother James Milwain and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.

KEENAN, John Edward - John Edward Keenan (May 1, 1932), died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on May 29, 2021. It was a gentle passing preceded by an incredible life.
John leaves behind Elizabeth (Elsie), his devoted wife of over 60 years, his son David (w/ wife Liz) and daughter, Jennifer, and six grandchildren, who were his greatest pleasure: Kathryn, Grace, John, Matthew, Cameron and Daniel.
John was a first generation Canadian and born in Regina, Saskatchewan, to an Irish mother (Elizabeth Johnstone) and a Ukrainian father (George Keenan: nee Zelensky) and had three siblings: George, Kay (Cardarelli), and Donald. As for many, the depression years were hard on the family, but he fondly retold stories of his youth and his love for family has inspired generations to come.

MIDDAUGH, Marie Linda Yvonne - Our beloved mother, daughter, sister, wife, partner, grandmother and friend, Linda Middaugh, passed away on May 29, 2021 peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital at the age of 55.
She’s survived and forever loved by her children Brandon, Sean, and Angela, mother Lilliane, sister Theresa, brother Willy, father of her children Robert, and Granddaughter Cyriah.
