COWAN, John Pardee -
November 13, 1924 - May 31, 2023
'Bo' Cowan left us May 31, 2023, exactly twelve years to the day of the passing of his wife, Susan.
He loved Lake Huron's beach and the Pretty River Valley. His corporate life included Dow Chemical, The Industrial Mortgage and Trust and RBC Dominion Securities.
He was a true gentleman with a sense of humor, generosity, equal respect for everyone and an ability to make you feel a little better after spending time with him.
He leaves behind sons, John (Susan) and David (Jim); grandchildren, John (Trish) and Anne Nisbet (Tom); and great-grandchildren, Isabel, Winnifred and Martin.
Few have been so fortunate to live such a wonderful life and enjoy 98 years of it. We wish to thank the staff of Ontario Lane, Vision Nursing and Rest Home for the most loving care shown to Bo every day. Truly exceptional!
A family service will be held at a later date.
Bo is calling everyone up from the beach, for a celebration of his life on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., at 1402 Lakeshore Road, Sarnia. Parking is limited, so please carpool if you can.
