NELSON, Dan - June 7, 1950 - May 18, 2020
Cathy's husband and soulmate for 48 years and Becky and Ashley's loving father. Dan was admired for his joie de vivre.
His love of travel took him around the world, even planning trips while he was in the hospital.
His love of shopping was a force to be reckoned with - packages are still arriving!
His love of chocolate and ice cream never ceased to amaze, as did his hatred for kale and broccoli.

PAWLIKOWSKI, Wanda - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Wanda Jadwiga Pawlikowski, nee Morawska.
Born January 30, 1926 in Warsaw, Poland, she died May 15, 2020 in Toronto, after a lengthy illness. She was 94.
Wanda spent a happy, early life in her beloved, pre-war Warsaw. She spent her teens during the Second World War in France.
Following the end of the war, Wanda studied dentistry in France and in Poland where she graduated and worked.

"Tony" was born in Amindeon, Greece and immigrated to Canada in 1956, where he enjoyed a career as a chef working for Versa Foods, Stong College at York University where he was an honorary fellow, and St. John's Convalescent Hospital.

IAFRATE, Joseph 'Joey' - (1950 - 2020) - A Time to Say Goodbye –
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Joseph (Joey) Iafrate, who, from the City of Toronto and at the age of seventy years old, departed this world for another on May 18, 2020.
Joseph was a true gentleman in all sense of the word, a music aficionado and gourmand with a love for fine wine and cognac. An architect by trade, Joey had a passion for buildings and design. He also enjoyed gardening, photography and art, reading magazines and the daily newspaper, and talking about travel and the weather.

BIDERMAN, Gerald 'Jerry' Phillip - Gerald (Jerry) Phillip Biderman passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 18, 2020 after a three-month battle with kidney failure.
Born in Toronto on August 19, 1932, Jerry is survived by his wife Madeline Dennis and brother Don Biderman, and his daughters Robyn Kempe, partner Les Bober, Alicia Yetman and husband Todd.

YOUNG, Norm - It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Norm Young on Monday, May 18, 2020, at the age of 88.
Norm is survived by his wife Dolores (Mike)nee Herrington, of 65 years.
He will be sadly missed by daughter Sue (Gallant) and son Steve, along with grandchildren Alicia (Jordan), Adaria, Cassandra, Tristan and Lydia, and great-granddaughter Lily.
Norm had a long and successful career working for the Peel District School Board and retired in 1996.

Cecy was a teacher for over 25 years in India and worked for the Ontario Ministry of Transportation in Toronto and Kingston for over a decade.
Cecy passed away peacefully on the morning of May 18, 2020 in Scarborough, Ontario.

Born in Dublin, Ontario, Leon was the beloved husband of Rosemary for 61 years, a father, grandfather "Poppa", brother, uncle, and friend to many.
He was the cherished father of Leahann (Allan) and Debbilynn. Leon’s legacy will live on in the hearts of his four grandchildren Justin, Jennifer, Alana, and Shannon.

She is survived by her husband Gerry who was her loving soulmate for almost 60 years of marriage. His constant care and companionship during her last difficult years helped Yvonne immensely.
She will be greatly missed by her children and their spouses: Garry and Angela Boland, Lori and Rob Landry, and Mike and Milena Boland, as well as her grandchildren, Stephen, Tommy, Robbie, Julia, Justin and Mikaela.

SYBYDLO, Stefania “Stephanie” (Diakowycz) - Passed away peacefully in her 92nd year at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre on Monday, May 18, 2020.
Stefania was born in Lisnyky, Berezhany, Ukraine where she enjoyed a peaceful childhood within a loving family. She developed a strong faith in God which helped her survive the trauma of being in the way of a raging war and fleeing in the midst of it. The family eventually ended up in a Displaced Persons’ Camp in Ellwangen, Germany. Although life was difficult in postwar Germany, the Ukrainian refugee community organized a church, school, cultural activities, and clubs. Stefania graduated with a diploma in dressmaking.
