O'MARRA, Linda Catharine - (March 14, 1943 – January 27, 2020) - With extremely heavy hearts we announce the passing of Linda Catharine O’Marra peacefully after a long and courageous battle.
Cherished mother to Daniel (Claire), Michael (Coral) and Jeffrey (Val). Loving grandma to Kiana, Nathan, Oliver and Diego. Linda leaves behind many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, as well as friends and extended family.

GADWAY, Michael - With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Michael John Gadway, on Monday, January 27, 2020, at the age of 74, after a courageous battle with ALS.
Michael was a man of pride, character and faith. He will always be remembered for his deep love of family, sense of humour and loyalty to his friends. A graduate of Ryerson University, Michael went on to enjoy an accomplished career at IBM and later Celestica.
Michael had a lifelong passion for the game of golf, both on and off the course.
In his retirement years, he enjoyed serving as scorer for the Granite Ridge Men's Golf League.
After moving to Milton, Michael deepened his relationship with the Catholic Church, joining the Holy Rosary Parish.

WEBSTER, Glenn Frederick - Glenn went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre, after recently celebrating his 96th birthday.
Glenn is survived by his loving wife Jean of 64 years, and will forever be cherished by his children, Bart, Barry and Julie (William) Horne, and grandchildren, Rachelle and Andrew Horne, along with many nieces and nephews.

ROEBUCK, Margaret Luetta (Peggy) (nee LAWRENCE) - Margaret Luetta (Peggy) Roebuck (née Lawrence) was born March 24, 1923, on the family farm near Chinook, Alberta to Opal Ines (née Alger) and James Wright Lawrence.
She died January 27, 2020 at Fairmount Home, Kingston, Ontario.
Peg pursued her passions for nature and art, studying at the Banff School of Fine Arts on a scholarship and later at Mount Royal College.
On Thanksgiving, in 1944, Peg met the love of her life, Timothy Roebuck, a wartime flight instructor who was recovering from a plane crash in Calgary.

SONES, Maureen Patricia - Maureen Patricia Sones, on January 25, 2020 in her 98th year, said her final farewell surrounded by her loved ones.
Born in Dublin, Ireland, on September 27, 1922.
Upon the death of their young mother, Maureen and her two sisters Paddy and Joan grew up in a convent in Monaghan, Ireland. She joined the WRENS at the beginning of WWII.
In 1952, along with her young son David, sister Paddy, brother-in-law Robert and their daughter Deirdre immigrated to Canada. Maureen met, fell in love and married Ben Sones. They added to their family a daughter, Maureen Elizabeth.

COLTESCU, Catalina - Passed away at home on the night of January 27, 2020 after bravely battling cancer since June 2018.
Catalina Ruxandra Coltescu originally came to Canada from Romania where she completed her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Craiova, Romania.
Catalina began her career at University Health Network in August 2002 as a Research Analyst at Toronto Western Hospital Liver Clinic and was promoted three times to her most recent position as a senior Clinical Research Coordinator-II.

ROBB, Dorothy Dawn - Age 79, passed away peacefully at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto on Monday, January 27, 2020 from complications due to Parkinson’s disease.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Bruce Robb, their daughter, Christine Robb, son-in-law, Kim Barrett, and brother-in-law, Graeme Robb and his wife, Margaret Anne Robb.
Dawn was one of the first women who worked for IBM in a technical role. She worked in a number of capacities such as senior education instructor, systems engineer and project manager.

ROONEY, Mark Laurence - With heavy hearts we announce that Mark Laurence Rooney of Hamilton passed away at age 98 on January 27, 2020.
His passing was peaceful, but sudden, following a brief respiratory infection.
Predeceased by his beloved wife for 58 years, Kay, in 2003 and by his second wife for 12 years, Jeanette, in 2019, and by his daughter Maria (Sister Katrina) Rooney of the Sisters of St. Joseph in 2007, and by his three dear sisters in New Zealand.
Cherished father of his son Paul of Toronto, and dearly loved grandfather of Colleen (Rob) and Emily, and great-grandfather of Julian, Oliver, Wesley, and Beau.
