MCLEAN, Kathleen A. - It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother, Kay, on August 18, 2018 in her 93rd year.
Devoted wife to Joseph McLean (deceased 2006), loving mother to Ann Marie Nicholson (deceased 2017), Paul and Holly McLean, Brian and Colette McLean (deceased 2017), Kevin and Janet McLean, and Peter and Anna-Maria McLean.
Amazing Grandma Kay will always be remembered by her grand-children Kim and Drew, Amy and Wayne, Sarah and Andrew, Stephen, James, Ashley and Eric, Brandon and Kelsie, Marc Daniel and Eddy and great grand-children Layla and Katie.
Kay was the much loved oldest sister to Margaret Clarke, Teresa Carroll (deceased 2011), Marie Ryan (deceased 2017) and Ed McMahon. She was a special sister-in-law to Trudy McMahon and Angela McLean and wonderful Auntie Kay to many nieces and nephews.
Kay will also be sadly missed by her many treasured friends.
Friends may call at Turner & Porter 'Peel' Chapel 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N of QEW) on Wednesday from 6 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clement Catholic Church 409 Markland Dr., Etobicoke on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, any donations would be much appreciated by the family to the Alzheimer Society in memory of Kay’s beloved husband, Joe McLean.
