DAVIDSON, Barbara Louise (Joy) - Our beautiful mother and grandmother died peacefully at Humber Heights LTC on November 9, 2018 in her 94th year.
She was predeceased by her husband, John; her mother, Amy Dunn Joy; father, William Thomas Joy; brothers, Paul and Tom Joy; sister, Mary K. Taylor; sisters-in-law, Myrle Wattam and Marjorie Carson.
Barbara, of Toronto, formerly of St. Catharines will be sorely missed by her daughters, Joy (Glenn), Christine (Brent); grandchildren, Michael (Vanessa), Daniel, Emily (Ben), Katie (Kelly); and great-grandchildren, Dylan and Olivia; her sister, Beth Martin; and sister-in-law, Jean McKinnon; and many nieces and nephews.
Barbara loved bridge, reading and sports but her passion was her family. We will miss her wit and sage advice.
Funeral will be held on Monday, November 19th, at 11 a.m. at St. George's-on-the-Hill Church, 4600 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke, ON, reception to follow at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in support of Alzheimer's Research at Sinai Health System.
