BICKNELL, Christopher John   - June 8, 1934 – December 17, 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chris Bicknell.

Beloved husband to Janette (nee McBeth).

Loving father to Susan Kupka (Dave) and Allison Beard.

Cherished grandfather to Ryan, Nicole, Ben, Jeff and Andrew. Survived by sisters Jane and Madeleine, brother Peter and sister-in-law Sue. Predeceased by brother Basil and sister Hilary. He will be sorrowfully missed.

Chris was born in London, England and moved to Toronto in his early twenties where he married Janette and lived thereafter. His passions in life were his work as a stock broker, volunteering with the church and the Knights of Columbus and skiing at Alpine Ski Club in Collingwood.

Sadly, he spent the last number of years impacted by Alzheimer's and we are grateful to all the caregivers at the Village of Humber Heights in Etobicoke who took such good care of him.

A Memorial Funeral will take place on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Church, 670 Sheppard Ave. E., in North York.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Schlegel-UW Research Institute for Aging, or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
