Vlahos LeonVLAHOS, Leonidas 'Leon' - Passed away peacefully at home on July 27, 2019 in his loving wife's arms.

Leon was born in the small town of Kastoria, Greece to Haralambos and Soultana Vlahos on February 16, 1938, the youngest of six children. 

He moved to Toronto, Canada at the age of 16 with his brothers and sisters to pursue his dream of a better life. 

He foud the love of his life Vicki, with whom he was married to for 55 years.   

From this union he nurtured and guided his two adoring children Donna (Ted) and Bobby (Gladys). 

He doted over his 3 granddaughters Cassandra, Yasmine, and Sofia and his grandson Leonidas Nathaniel.

Survived by his sister Soula Patiakas.

Leon loved fishing, boating and picnicking with family in Lake Simcoe and Rice Lake. He enjoyed watching soccer and hockey. He loved to travel overseas with his wife and the St. John's Church. 

Leonidas passion and his mastery of creating stylish fur coats from start to finish was unparalleled.

Visitation will be held at Highland Funeral Home - Scarborough on July 30th from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The service will take place at St. John's Greek Orthodox Church, 1385 Warden Avenue, Toronto on July 31st at 10:00 AM.
