JACKSON, Evelyn Grace - Passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 2nd, 2020 at Hawthorn Community Care in her 108th year.
Predeceased by her beloved husband John Basil Jackson (2001).
Parents Alf and Florence Bennett and sister Elsie Farebrother (Rex). Fondly remembered by nephew Gary Jackson (Violet Ann) niece Carol Scoular (Bill) and their families.
Longtime friends Eileen Giboney, Diane Goldwin will miss their weekly visits to Evelyn. Eighteen years have flown by!
John and Evelyn operated a successful food business for many years. Evelyn’s true talents were as an artist and gardener. She excelled at both.
Last eight years resided at Hawthorn Woods, Brampton, ON. A special thank you to Dr. Ibrahim, staff, nurses and PSW’s. Our sincere appreciation to the many others whom we’ve never met. All contributed to Evelyn’s well being over these many years.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Monday, February 10th from 1-3 p.m. for a memorial gathering to celebrate her life. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charity would be appreciated.
