CHABAN, Katharina - Passed away peacefully in Toronto on March 11, 2020 at the age of 96.
Born on January 28th, 1924 in the Lemko town of Hludno, Lemkivshchyna.
Beloved wife of the late Dmytro Chaban.
Loving mother to Peter and his wife Michele, Irene and her husband Harinder Padam and Ann and her husband John O’Neill.
Cherished grandmother to Soroya and Sean and great grandmother to Leo.
She will be sadly missed by all friends and family in Ukraine and the loving staff at Ivan Franko. V
isitation will be held at Cardinal Funeral Home, Toronto on Sunday March 15, 2020 from 2 to 5 pm. Panakhyda (Ukrainian Prayer Service) will be held at 5 pm. A divine liturgy will be held at Saint Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church 135 La Rose Avenue Toronto on Monday March 16th at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the Ivan Franko Home new building campaign.
