REID, Byron Keith - Passed away on March 11, 2020 at the Brampton Civic Hospital and has left an empty space yet precious memories in the hearts of those who knew or met him.

Byron's life begun on February 24, 1947. He was the third child of Carlton and Eleanor Reid in Manchester, Jamaica.

In his early years he moved to 10 Burke Road in Kingston, Jamaica. He had a passion for boxing and became a boxer in his youth. He often spoke of the good time He had as a boxer and cherished those moments.

At the age of 23 Byron moved to Canada where he spent the rest of his life. Byron had a good life in Canada. He worked as forklift operator and built his life and family.

He was the wonderful husband to his amazing wife, Winniefred Veronica Reid for 26 great years.

A father to five sons: Gary, Dwayne, Byron Jr., Howard, Christopher-(1979-2018) and two daughters, Ann-Marie and Lorraine (1966-2019).

Byron family extends over the years and he was blessed with fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He loved his family whether near or far and always reminisced on the time he had with them.

Byron lived for 73 good years, and has touched the hearts of many during his time on earth.

His family and friends are thankful for the time they had with Byron on earth. Byron will forever be remembered, loved, missed and will always be known as a man of class and style. May his soul rest in peace.

Visitation will be held at Brampton Funeral Home, Brampton on April 24th from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The service will take place in the chapel on April 25th at 11:00 AM. Interment and a reception will follow.
