COBITZ, Thomas - After a long and memorable life, it is with heavy hearts we announce that Thomas Cobitz, at the age of 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Scarborough General Hospital.
Loving husband of Shirley Cobitz for 65 years. He will be dearly missed by his children Thomas Cobitz Jr. (Ruilan), Christopher Cobitz (Lorri), Cheryl Lewandowski (Harry) and Kim Cobitz.
Generous Grandfather to Cristin, Lise, Connor, Patrick and Kurtis. Gentle Great Grandfather to Adrien, Teagan, Chase, Camden and Zoe. He is survived by his sister Vera.
Special thanks to his family doctor, Dr. Salwa Azer from the Scarborough Family Health Organization and the support of our neighbours, especially Mary and John. Many thanks to the caring Staff at Scarborough General Hospital and to the wonderful paramedics.
