After returning from the military, he moved to Canada to follow the love of his life, Giuseppina (nee Fera). They married in Toronto in 1957 and started a family, welcoming four children into the world.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 63 years, Giuseppina, and is survived by his children Paul (Eva), Maurice (Norma), Rosa and Nicola (Michelle), his grandchildren Jacqueline (Jason), Nicholas (Melinda), Nicola (Laura), Candice, Christopher, Jimmy, Lorenzo, Matteo and Massimo, and his great-grandchildren Braelyn and Luke, as well as his brother Raffelle (Giuseppina), brothers-in-law Gregg (Elizabeth) Fera and Domenic (Vilia) Fera, sisters-in-law Mariateresa (Vito) Marchese and Cathy (Phil) Major, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, his half-sisters Virginia (Vito) Marchese and Angelina (Luca) Chiarelli, and half-brother Franco (Bettina), brother Vito (Romilda) and sister Victoria (Pasqualino) Angelieri, mother and father-in-law Marianna and Nicola Fera.

His family will be holding a private funeral with a Celebration of Life to follow in 2021.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Canadian Blood Services or Bladder Cancer of Canada.

The Mazze family is grateful to the caring staff at William Osler and Peel Memorial Hospitals, as well as the wonderful nurses at Spectrum Health and the PSWs from Headwater Health Services for their compassion during his frequent visits over the past two years.
