HOUGHTON, Robert Cecil 'Bob' - Robert Houghton (Bob), resident of Guelph Ontario, passed away peacefully at his home in his 73rd year surrounded by his family.
He was born December 9th, 1947 in Toronto, Ontario and died September 27th, 2020.
Bob was employed by the Toronto Transit Commission and was a member of the ATU113 for 31 years. He loved the Toronto Maple Leafs and any other Toronto Sports team. Bob was also a coach for Hockey and Baseball in the 80s and 90s.
He will be sadly missed by wife, Mary Houghton. Children, Scott (Nikki), Deborah, Matthew (Jennifer) and Michelle. Grandchildren Hannah, Marcus, Braedon, Chloe, Connor, Mya, Dax, Luca and Dakota. He was predeceased by parents Cecilia and Bud, first wife Cynthia Houghton.
May he rest in eternal peace.
The viewing and service will be held on October 3rd at 10:30am at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave E., Scarborough, Ontario. Graveside service will follow after the viewing and service at 1:00pm at 33 Memory Garden Lane, North York.
