(November 7, 1937February 17, 2021) - Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday February 17, 2021.

Reg was an avid race horse fan, enjoyed a good poker night with friends as well as fishing, where he often slept and caught fish at the same time. He enjoyed time away with friends, travelling annually to French River to fish and enjoyed the simpler things in life.

From annual New Year’s Day parties, to other social gatherings, Reg loved the company of his family and many friends, always greeting people with open arms and a smile. Reg was a true gentleman, good friend, mentor and father figure to many.

Survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Carol Anne, daughter, Ashley Fukusaka (Rob) and son, Darryl Soper (Glynis). Reg will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Madison, Nori, Cameron, Willem and Gemma.

Predeceased by his brothers Ken (Kuni) and George (late Amy). Lovingly remembered by his siblings, Chiz Takata (late Norrie), Roy (Cecelia), Yaeko Inata (George) and his many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Cremation has already taken place. Arrangements entrusted with Paul O'Connor funeral home.
