PAINTER, Terence - With tremendous sadness we announce the passing of Terence (Terry) Charles Painter at Hospice Waterloo Region on Saturday, May 1, 2021.
Terry bravely fought cancer the last four years of his life but lost the battle.
Terry was born 38 years ago in Scarborough, his mother Theresa Chaves (nee Ward) and dad Stephen Chaves are heartbroken.
Terry leaves behind his beautiful wife Kristina (nee Kuyvenhoven) and his dear sweet daughter Kylee. Terry was a big brother to both Steph (Sota) and Joey.
They will remember his smile and all the times they had together.
He will also be missed by his in-laws Andy and Mary (nee Kroes) Kuyvenhoven, brothers-in-law Peter (Jenny) and Mike (Kiera) as well as his niece Kelly and nephews Parker, Tyler, Jaxson, Dylan and Nathan.
Terry will be missed by his extended family, aunts, uncles, cousins and his friends.
He will also be remembered by Stephen, Carol, Katie, Kyle and their families.
A private visitation and service will be held in Kitchener. Rev. Matthew Kieswetter officiating. Cremation to follow. A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Kylee's education fund (Royal Bank of Canada) or Hospice Waterloo Region would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Hospice Waterloo Region who supported us all over the last four days.
Also special thank you to Dr. Lana Tan and Dr. Stacey Hubay and the staff at the Grand River Cancer Centre and Hospital.
