In 1969, Maria Eduarda immigrated to Toronto, Ontario to provide a new life for her 3 daughters.

She worked for TTR Railways until her retirement age of 65 years. She embraced the Canadian culture, her interests included traveling, camping, sewing, gardening and her greatest love was her family.

Maria Eduarda worked very hard and dedicated herself to raising her daughters. She was a devout Catholic who had a deep belief in her faith. She loved her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her family.

She is survived by her daughters Teresa Cabral, Stella Vieira and Ana Paula Pacheco, a cherished grandmother (Avo) to grandchildren Eric Cabral, Kimberley Dixon, Krystle Da Silva, Jacqueline Paradinha, and Philip Da Silva, her great grandchildren, Katrina, Elliyana, Madeline, Evan, Arielle, Zora, Emersyn and Noah, her sisters Norma Pacheco, Graca Pinto and Carlos Lima, and many nieces and nephews.
