STRUTH, Muriel (nee Wood) - It is with heavy hearts the family announces Muriel’s passing on Saturday May 1, 2021 at the age of 88.
A lifelong resident of Toronto, Muriel was born July 8, 1932 to parents Andrew and Florence Wood (nee Parker).
Together forever with her beloved husband George R. Struth (2003). Cherished mother to Lesley-Anne Struth (Jeff MacMillan), Adam Struth and Karen Struth Brosseau (Alan Brosseau). Beloved Grandma to Jennifer, Haley, Jack and Aidan. Loving sister to the late Earl Wood.
At her happiest when surrounded by family and friends, Muriel was the ultimate hostess who loved to cook, entertain, laugh, share a glass of wine and celebrate life. A volunteer at Bendale Acres, Scarborough for many years she loved to travel, attend community theatre, bowling and golf. Loved by many Muriel will be deeply missed.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Centenary Hospital for their care.
