BROWN, Barbara Marion - On Friday, September 24, 2021, at Sunrise of Oakville, in her 86th year.
Predeceased by her loving friend Mark Taylor (2002).
Daughter of the late Clifford and Mary Brown. Survived by brothers George (the late Barbara and Isla), Donald (Mary), Douglas (the late Diane) and sister Audrey (the late Jim Peddie).
She will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families.
An avid sportswoman, Barbara especially enjoyed baseball in her younger years and in more recent years enjoyed travelling, skiing, and golf and she will be missed by her friends from these parts of her life.
Born and raised in Milton, she eventually moved to Toronto as an employee of Shell Oil for 35 years.
fter retirement, Barbara returned to Milton to be closer to her family.
A very special thank you to all the caregivers at Sunrise of Oakville. A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
