MILDENBERGER, Wolfgang - March 1, 1940 – November 11, 2021
Passed away at North York General Hospital, on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at the age of 81 years.
Dearly beloved spouse of Gayda Jackson, father of Andrew and Michael and proud Opa to Justin, Sasha and Rhea.
Will be sadly missed by family and friends both in Canada and Germany.
Wolfgang immigrated to Canada at the age of eighteen years with little knowledge of the English language.
He was an accomplished tool and die maker and began what would be a long and successful career in the aerospace industry, culminating in the position of General Manager with Heroux-Devtek.
Those who worked with him remember him as a leader with great skill and compassion.
Retirement gave him time to build a cottage in Kawarthas, create some incredible model galleons, enjoy multiple games of golf, and many happy vacations around the world with Gayda.
Respecting the current situation and pandemic restrictions, ceremonies in honour of Mr. Mildenberger will be private.
Relatives and friends are invited to share memories about Wolfgang and make donations to the Alzheimer Society.
