HUGGINS, John Joseph Montgomery   -  Passed away at age 91, on Christmas morning at Providence Healthcare, after a three-month battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

John was predeceased by his beloved wife Lilian Viola Henderson Greenaway Huggins and his former wife and forever friend Wyvonie (Carrie) Helena West Huggins.

John will be sadly and lovingly missed by his devoted children and grandchildren Adonica (Atiba), Adonis (Ikoro and Adaku), Arleen and son-in-law Mathew (Zariah) and Alison (Rochelle and Kadeem) and Janice and son-in-law Roy (Nina); and adoring step-children and step-grandchildren Althea (Sherma), the late Donna (Adam), the late Necia (Arron), Eleanor (Sophia and Georgina), and Anthony (Danielle, Joshua and Joel).

Cherished by his siblings and their spouses Anesta (Annette), Earle (Winnifred), Griswold (Ruth), the late Hugh (Geraldine), Winston (Ethel), and Ita, and their families.

John was completely dedicated to his large circle of dear family, friends, VIA Rail colleagues and its Pensioners Association.

We celebrate a much-loved man, and an unforgettable and honourable life well-lived.

John requested a private cremation which will occur on January 3rd.

In lieu of flowers, memorial charitable donations would be very much appreciated in John's name made to the Church of Saint Stephen-in-the-Fields, World Vision Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society, all of which he supported until his death.
