Snodofsky BernieSNODOFSKY, Bernie   - September 7, 1941 - November 1, 2017

Passed away unexpectedly in his sleep just 2 months following his 76th birthday.

He was a devoted husband for 50 years to Mary whom he visited daily in her retirement residence, and for whom the loss will be profoundly felt.

Bernie was the son of the late Morris and Ida Snodofsky and is survived by his sister, Lorraine Colbourn (Fred). Well known for his love of curling which was supplanted by lawn bowling during the summer months.

During 17 years of retirement he was able to enjoy these activities to the fullest with many hours spent at the curling club. Prior to retirement, he had a career as a social worker with the majority of these years at North York General Hospital.

Special nieces and nephews whom he enjoyed spending time with include, Gary, Barry, Keith, Karen, Jeffrey, Glen, Keith and Julie along with their families. Numerous great nieces and great nephews were also a delight to him. He will be sadly missed by all.

Family and friends are invited to the Jerrett Funeral Home (6191 Yonge Street, North York, Ontario) on Monday, November 6, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.

For those who wish donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
