AGUSTIN, Agileo Lacuesta 'Leo' - On March 2nd, 2021, Agileo Lacuesta Agustin, passed away in his 67th year.
Leo was born on October 15th, 1953 in Camiling, Tarlac, Philippines to Bartolome and Avelina Lacuesta Agustin.
Beloved Husband of Jessie Primero Agustin, loving father of Gail, Aila and John, and father-in-law of Rod Bernal and Chamreun Lam. Much loved grandfather of Rondail, Raine, Ronan, Rald and JJ.
His contributions included roles as a political leader of Barangay Pao 2nd for multiple years. He served as the voice and fought for farmer rights in his village in the Philippines. He was an Elder and a Deacon for over 20 years for the Toronto Filipino Seventh Day Adventist Church.

RAE, Mary Helen (née Pashkewych) - (July 21, 1936 — March 2, 2021) -
We mourn the loss of our mother who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
Mary was a loving wife to her late husband Douglas, and she was a devoted mom to Anne (Kevin), Christine (James), and James (Jennifer). A fun-loving Baba, she will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Breanna, Cameron, Kristen, Jesse, Tyler and Aidan.

KESSLER, Irving Isaac – Architect and Holocaust survivor, died from complications of pneumonia on March 2, 2021.
After WWII, he arrived in Canada as a refugee with his parents, Nechama and Mordechai. He graduated 1st in his class from McGill’s School of Architecture in 1956 and was awarded the R.A.I.C. Medal of Excellence as well as a travelling scholarship.
He opened his own architectural office in Westmount, Montreal where he designed condominiums, schools and private residences. Notable projects included the Taylor Rehabilitation Centre as well as the design of the 1 st affordable condominium for low income housing in Verdun, Montreal. A lifelong lover of the outdoors, he was ahead of his time in adopting a philosophy of design that emphasized green spaces and sustainable construction. In designing a warehouse for Olympia Tile Co. in Toronto, he included an open green space with large glass windows into their display centre which was a revolutionary concept at the time.

SALVATORE, Georgina Cathleen (nee Brodie) - (February 18, 1943 – March 2, 2021) - Passed away peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital, Toronto, at the age of 78.
She is survived by her husband, Jack, of almost 56 years who is heartbroken at the loss of his “Georgie”. Her children, Cristina Aguanno (Joe) and John Salvatore (Mary), along with her two grandchildren, Richard and Sofia, are heartbroken and will miss her dearly.
Georgina was born and raised in Toronto, and was the youngest of 3 children. She was predeceased by her siblings, Lauretta Sampson and James Brodie.

Son of George and Marjory Brant. Loving brother of Donna Barnes and predeceased by Myrna Moore. Loving husband of Evelyn Stiver for 39 years. Stepfather of Craig Kerr (Lori) and Glenn Kerr (Brenda).
Loving grandfather of Hayley, Meagan (Gordon), Shannon (Brandt), Emily (Gill) and Grant.
Gordon worked for Metro Toronto for 30 years.

BONDAD, Avelino Poyaoan - A teacher to many, a mentor to the young and old, and a friend to all - peacefully passed away on March 2, 2021 at his home in Newmarket, Ontario surrounded by his loving wife, children and grandchildren. He was 79.
Avelino was born to Jacobo and Alberta on June 30, 1941, in the Philippines.
His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his wife Faustina; son Rex and wife Melanie; daughter Mary Zennia; daughter Mary Heidi and husband Fernando; five grandsons: Joshua, Zean, Timothy, Marcus, Matteo; and brother Pedro and wife Aquilina. He was preceded in deaths by three sons: Jose Mari, Mark David and Hubert Kelly.

Nadia Milko, beloved wife, mother, sister and cherished Baba, passed away peacefully at home in Toronto, on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, surrounded by the family she loved.
She leaves behind her devoted husband of 63 years, Walter; children Leanne (Brian) and Warren (Tania); brother Raymond; and grandchildren Katie, Ian, Emily and Matthew.
She is also mourned by her extended family and lifelong close circle of friends from both west Toronto and Fort Myers Beach, Florida.
Born in Toronto to Steve Jablonski and Annie Turylo, Ukrainian immigrants who had come to Canada in search of a better life, Nadia attended Parkdale Collegiate and later the University of Toronto, where she graduated with a BSc. in Food Chemistry in 1956.

HALLAM, Richard 'Rick' James - Passed away Tuesday evening March 2, 2021 at his home near the Beaches with his partner Michael at his side.
To say Rick had an interesting, eventful life would be an understatement. He was a unique individual with a big heart who could make just about anything happen if he felt passionately enough about it, and he did so regularly. Just ask his partner who foolishly said he didn’t think they had a future together 31+ years ago.

KOUFOS, Reverend Father Economos Theodore - 80, fell asleep in the Lord on March 2, 2021, in North York, Ontario, Canada.
Fr. Theodore was an Orthodox priest serving in Greek, Antiochian, Russian, and Albanian parishes in Canada and the United States for 46 years, and was an internationally celebrated Orthodox Iconographer of the very first rank.
Fr. Theodore leaves behind his identical twin brother, the Very Reverend Archimandrite Father Philip Koufos of Chicago, his devoted sister Cheryl Ann Rudolph, and his brother-in-law Peter Rudolph, of Youngstown, Ohio.
The siblings were the children of Theodore and Alia Koufos, both natives of Boston, where Father Theodore and his brother were born on December 15, 1940.
