McGinnis GoldwynMcGINNIS, Goldwyn “Goldie”  - Passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 94.

Beloved husband of Lois Taylor.

Predeceased by Mildred. Loving father of the late Murray (Julie) and Ron (Sherry) and step-father of Heather (Henry), Tom (Kelly) and Sherri (Les).

Cherished Grandpa of Mike (Mellisa), Chris (Amanda), Amanda, Sabrina (Brian) and Step-Grandpa of Stacey (Cale), Chris, Mandi (Tyler) and Karli (Jeff) and Great-Grandpa of Kenzie, Mason and Greyson.

Goldie will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. He was a WWII Veteran, lifetime member of Coboconk Canadian Legion, Branch #519 and the Masonic Lodge. He retired as Post Master in Coboconk after many years of dedicated service.

Following retirement, Goldie moved to Oshawa and was very active with Northview Seniors and Kedron United Church and enjoyed going to weekly country music.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the  ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E.).

A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 12 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Coboconk Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a CHARITY of your choice.
