KENEL, Frank (Franz) - January 29, 1929 - August 31, 2020 - With deep sadness, I Prisca Kenel, wife and long time friend to Frank Kenel, say goodbye to my beloved husband of 58 years.
We had to let him go to our loving LORD after an illness he took with strength and courage.
Frank was a dedicated and caring father to Evelyn (James), Christine (James), and Gregory, and attentive and loving grandfather to Jonah and Naomi.

ARMITAGE, Roy - May 14, 1932 - August 31, 2020
After a courageous ten-year battle with Parkinson's disease, Roy died peacefully at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto.
Born in Stockport, Cheshire, he was an avid mountain climber, cyclist and cricket player in his youth.
Shortly after his arrival in Toronto in 1964, he met his wife Gert.
They were married for 55 years.

JAEGER, Martin Jerome - Martin passed at North York General Hospital in Toronto on August 31, 2020, after a brief illness.
Born in Winnipeg, MB, April 9, 1938, Martin lived in Winnipeg; Palo Alto, CA; St. John's, NL and Toronto, ON.
In July 2014, Martin wed Bernice (Be) Klasky in a ceremony attended by family and friends.

PERRY, Mabel Alice (nee BROWN, formerly KEACHIE) - 1921 - 2020 Mabel passed peacefully out of this world August 31st, aged 99, in her Christie Garden apartment, surrounded by love.
She will be forever missed by her children Susan Norwich (Robert) and Bruce Keachie (Veronica) and reunited with her daughters Catherine (1997) and Judith (2019).
She was predeceased by her husbands Morton Keachie (1997) and Howard Perry (1977).
Lovingly remembered by Colin and Ann Key, John Sullivan, Rose Norwich, and a host of adoring granddaughters: Cleo Lewis, Morgan and Alison Norwich, Carla Sullivan, Linda Claire and Jane Alice Keachie, and grandson Patrick Sullivan.

CHEN, Hang Fung (nee CHONG) - In Loving Memory of Mrs. Hang Fung Chen 1923 - 2020 Mrs. Hang Fung Chen, 97, born on November 19, 1923, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2020.
She was predeceased by her husband, Mr. Yue Fat Chen. Mrs. Chen was born in Ningbo, China, to Mr. Yu Tong Chong and Mrs. Chui Ngor Chu Chong.
She is survived by sons, Mr. Stephen Chen (Denise), Dr. William Chen (Kathy), daughters, Mrs. Ellie Flick (Dr. James), Dr. Lily Chen Yap (John), Mrs. Marion Yee (Glenn) and Mrs. Betty Garden (John).
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and spouses, 20 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren, and 8 nephews and nieces.

He was Principal Engineer at Florida Power & Light and taught Economics at FIT.

BOUTOT, Norma Betty (nee Handley) - It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of our beloved Norma Betty Boutot, in her 90th year here in Toronto.
She has been reunited with her late husband, Ronald Boutot.
Norma was born on November 13, 1929 to Helga and Norman Handley and attended Humberside Collegiate where she met a number of her life-long friendships.
Norma went onto Teachers College and taught in school until 1964, she got married and became the proud mother of Jean-Marie and Gary.

De ALMEIDA, Dinarte 'Dino' - We celebrate Dinarte “Dino” De Almeida’s life achievements and announce his peaceful passing on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at the Newmarket Health Centre, at the proud age of 89.
Dinarte is fondly remembered by relatives and friends in Canada, Azores, Australia and the United States.
A passionate man, Dinarte loved his family and was loved by them; he is reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife of 50 years, Maria Cremilde De Almeida (nee Raposo) and eldest son Paul Jorge.

SPAGAT, Morris - Morris Spagat passed away at his residence on August 30th, 2020. He was just shy of his 97th birthday.
Morris enjoyed a long and fascinating career as a master fitter and designer for Creeds Furs, attaining the recognition of being one of the 10 best fur fitters in the world.
Beloved husband of the late Esther Spagat. Father of Michael and the late Lee (Leon) Spagat. He will be sadly missed by his daughter-in-law Beverly, his 6 grandchildren Elliott, Sam, Zachary, Cayla, Bailey and Benji, along with his 7 great-grandchildren Alicia, Jamie, Ira, Olivia, Brody, Cole and Hart.

ZORN, Gisela - After a brief yet courageous battle with cancer Gisela has sadly passed away on August 30, 2020 at the age of 77.
Gisela was born in 1943 in the small town of Kirchheim Germany; from there she along with her sisters and family immigrated to Canada living in British Columbia, then Quebec and finally settling in Ontario.
While living in Ontario Gisela worked in a number of jobs before finding her true niche as a manager of Cadet Cleaners.
A position that allowed her to use her talents as a communicator and negotiator. Gisela won numerous presidential awards as the company’s top store manager.

HINES, Colin Oswald - June 4, 1927 – August 30, 2020
Dr. Colin O. Hines was an atmospheric physicist and mathematician.
His 1960 paper, Internal Atmospheric Gravity Waves at Ionospheric Heights, was seminal: Hines was a driver in the early decades of gravity wave research, and his work continues to influence current research in the field.
For 68 years, Colin was the loving husband of Bernice (predeceased).
He was a devoted father to David (Lynette), Michael (Rena), Margot Lynn, and Karen (Blake), and grandad to Jade and Becky – all of whom will miss him deeply.
