FERGUSON, Mettelia Leanne (a.k.a. Miss Girlie) - Beloved wife of the late Sidney Augustus Ferguson (July 22, 2016). She peacefully passed away on June 14, 2020, surrounded by family at 85 years of age.
She was born in Mitchell Town, Jamaica to father Rufus Anthony Reid and mother Ellen G Smith on February 15, 1935.
She will be sadly missed by her children Melford Lambert, Sandra Ferguson-La Rosa (Antonio La Rosa) Cleve O. Ferguson, Peter C. Ferguson (Amber Wales) Debbie Ferguson-Naylor (Robert Naylor) Jewel Ferguson-Mason (Trevor Mason).

HOWSON, Richard Varcoe - Richard Varcoe Howson passed away peacefully June 14, 2020 in his 91st year.
He was a U of T graduate class of 1951, and captain of the Varsity Blues men’s hockey OUAA championship team in 1950-1951. He was inducted into the U of T Sports Hall of Fame in 2010.
He is survived by his wife Sandy and four sons; Barry (Sharon) Scott (Antoinette) Paul and Eric, as well as four stepchildren; Kim, Marylou, Stephen and Patricia.

STRICKLAND, Erma Aletha (nee Seeley) - After recently suffering a stroke, Erma passed away in her 94th year on June 14, 2020.
Erma was born in Mainsville , Ontario on October 29, 1926 to her cherished parents, Lucy (Alkerton) & Lorne Seeley. When Erma was a child, the family relocated to Oshawa and then to Toronto. At that time, Erma began her long association with Woodgreen United Church.
Shortly, after the Second World War, Erma met her future husband, Roy Strickland, through the Woodgreen Young Peoples’ Group. They were married at Woodgreen on June 19, 1948.

CLAYTON, Barry Western - Peacefully, on Sunday, June 14, 2020, at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg, in his 74th year.
Eldest son of the late Ernest Western Clayton and Shirley Belle Robinson, Barry grew up in Scarborough, attending Victoria Park High School, and later, the University of Windsor.
After earning his Chartered Accountant designation, Barry worked his way through the ranks at Ernst and Whinney.
Eventually, Barry went into business with childhood friend Garry Culverson; together they owned and operated Law Chambers until Barry's retirement.

WARD, Robert Andrew - 1953 -2020 On June 14, 2020, in Pinellas Park, Florida, Bob passed away, after a brave battle with cancer and Parkinson's disease.
Loving brother of Barry (Young Sook) and Laura, he was born on January 11, 1953, in Stamford, Connecticut, to Stanley and Elizabeth Ward.
Uncle Bob will be affectionately remembered by Naomi, Jason, Daniel, Tammi and Sumi, for his humour and smile.
Raised in Lorne Park, Mississauga, Bob developed a love of hockey and baseball during his childhood, and this passion for sports remained with him throughout his life.

GILMORE, Rosalie Lynn 'Rose' (nee Redpath) - Surrounded by loving family, Rosalie Gilmore peacefully became a sweet angel on June 13th, 2020 at her home at the age of 71.
Rose, beloved wife of 50 amazing and adventurous years to Edward and proud mother of Michael (Kathryn) and Matthew (Alicia). Proud Nana to Kylie, Mika, Lexi, Zachary, Jaxen and Ashley.

DUBBELDAM, Marinus Pieter - (1930 - 2020) - Passed away June 13, 2020 at Holland Christian Homes.
He was the beloved husband to the late Christine Dubbeldam, wonderful father to Andrew (Jennifer) and Brian, and grandfather to Jason and Rachel.
Marinus was born in the Netherlands in 1930 and immigrated to Canada with Christine Den Boer in 1952. They were married in 1953. They lived in Brockville, Ontario from 1952 until they moved to Holland Christian Homes in 2007.
After immigrating to Canada he was a car mechanic for a number of years and then worked at Dupont as a maintenance mechanic until his retirement in 1985.

WOLLSCHLAEGER, Edith - (August 24, 1924 - June 13, 2020) - Wow, what a wonderful long, happy and fulfilling life she had.
Born in Hamburg, as Edith Schulz, she had a happy childhood with mom Margarethe, father Wilheim and brother Werner. After the war, she married Arnold Wollschlaeger and together built an auto repair shop.
In 1955 they emigrated to Canada with their son Thomas, for a new start. They worked hard to establish a comfortable and happy life. From Arnold's successful truck repair company Ontario Bus and Truck, he designed and manufactured the 30 foot Orion transit bus under Ontario Bus Industries.

MALLOY, John R. - (June 9, 1926 - June 13, 2020) - Passed away peacefully on June 13, 2020 at the age of 94.
Devoted husband of Isabel and beloved father of Belinda, Michael (deceased), Maureen and Kevin (Allison). John was the loving grandfather of Lee, Jessica, Cody and Brendan. Dear great-grandfather of Kate and Oliver.
A proud veteran of the Canadian military that included services such as his tenure as a Weapons Specialist at CFB Petawawa, and a bugle player for The Governor General’s Horse Guards.
John was also a respected and successful businessman, dedicating more than four decades of his life to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, notably serving as General Manager, TV Sales and Marketing.

SALA, Stephen David - 1948 - 2020 David left his family on June 13, 2020.
Born April 13, 1948 in the Toronto Junction.
He tried to live life with COPD and then caught Covid-19.
Dearly missed by his wife of 42 years, Carley (Conroy) and their two sons, Grant (Anne Charlotte) and Todd, and his cherished granddaughter, Kate. Dave was retired from the City of Toronto, Municipal Licensing Services and Property Standards.
He also took on a part-time job for a few years for CMHC for Housing Rehabilitation Program for what was originally City of York and then a very large part of Peel, Brampton, and up through Port Bristol.
