JAMES, Jeffrey William - October 12, 1956 – November 9, 2018 - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jeffrey on November 9, 2018 at the Toronto General Hospital. Jeffrey passed away peacefully with friends and family by his side.
Jeffrey was born in Hull Quebec on October 12, 1956.
He was predeceased by his mother Dorthey James in December 1983.
He is survived his father Bruce James (Dolores), his brothers Greg (Cindy), Steve (Tina), sisters Elizabeth James, Kim Lundy (Ted), Carolyne Phillips (Hans) and numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be missed dearly by the many people he touched daily. That welcoming smile, the booming voice, those caring eyes, and the contagious amounts of enthusiasm he would bring to every conversation. Jeffrey always made you feel special.
Jeffrey recently achieved a lifelong dream of completing writing of his play, “The Man That Got Away “ , and watching his creation take the stage.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation, in recognition of the support Jeffrey received in his last hours by the amazing staff, nurses and doctors. – THANK YOU.
A celebration of Jeffrey’s life will take place on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Bloor St., Great Hall, 227 Bloor St. E., Toronto.
