MCNeil DanielMcNEIL, Daniel Robert  -  Passed away peacefully on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 7:47 p.m. held by the absolute love of his life, his daughter, Gabrielle.

Born October 13, 1959 in Lachine, Quebec, he grew up in New Mexico, Virginia and Florida and was well-travelled throughout his life.

Daniel was predeceased by his loving father, Daniel Robert McNeil and will be laid to rest by his side in Lachine.

Daniel is remembered and missed by his beloved daughter, Gabrielle, her mother and his partner Kate, sisters Ann, Claudia, mother Claudette, Aunt Lynda, many family and countless friends, including lifelong friend Craig Hamilton and partner in crime, Laura Timperio.

Daniel ran with the bulls in Pamplona Spain, was a tremendous boxer, was in the military, RCR 1st Battalion and jumped from a plane. He loved to read and write and was the most modestly intelligent man.

He truly lived life to the fullest. His greatest joy was raising his beautiful daughter, Gabrielle. A most loving and devoted father. A beloved friend, colleague and Crisis Worker, his kindness and compassion brought comfort to all whose lives he touched. He was held in the highest regard and he likewise, had a profound sense of respect for everyone he knew, loved and worked with.

Strong, steadfast, brilliant, kind, gentle, gracious, cherished and true. He was a most elegant man. Daniel McNeil you will be greatly missed. We love you.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 24th at 52 Laws St., Toronto from 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please remember the gracious Kensington Hospice.
