Parkinson WarrenPARKINSON, Warren Sheppard  -  It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Warren Sheppard Parkinson after a brief illness, on Sunday July 2nd, 2023, at 93 years of age.

Warren will be dearly missed and his memory cherished by his surviving brother, Roy Parkinson, as well as by many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Warren was born, raised and lived his life in the Beach in Toronto, Warren grew up in a loving family including parents Marshall Robert and Marjorie Louise Parkinson, three brothers, Melville (Betty), Grenville, Roy (Marjorie), and sister Marjorie.

Throughout his long and happy life Warren was a man of independent thought, diverse interests, quiet perseverance, and genuine kindness.

As a brother, uncle, great uncle, neighbour and friend he always welcomed conversations on any subject and was equally willing to lend a helping hand.

While he dedicated many years to working alongside his brother maintaining the family business, he found particular joy in caring for his beloved dogs, gardening, staying updated with evolving technology, devouring operas through his Metropolitan opera subscription which he enjoyed daily, and simply spending time sitting out on the front lawn savouring the beach atmosphere.

His insatiable curiosity, sincere generosity, and calm spirit will be lovingly remembered.

As per Warren’s wishes there will not be a funeral service.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all those who were involved in Warren’s life and care, especially in his later years.
