KUPERS, Viktors Ludvigs - Passed away peacefully, with his daughter Velta by his side, on Saturday, April 18, 2020, in his 95th year, to be reunited with his wife Aldona Faustina.
Lovingly remembered by daughters Velta Zvidris (Juris) and Maija Svilpis (Ivica Bosiljevac), granddaughter Sarmite Hickey (Fernando Clavijo) and great-grandson Brandon Hickey (Chenda Chhon).

McGUINNESS, Leo Bernard - Suddenly on April 18, 2020 at the age of 94.
Born on March 23, 1926 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, he was the son of Joseph and Annie McGuinness.
Leo gained an engineering qualification in Northern Ireland and joined the Merchant Navy in 1947.
He worked as an engineer on various ships, including the Aquitania - one of the Cunard liners.

GISCOMBE, Iscolene Larosa (Green) - Another day has come where sunshine subsides and a slight shadow prevails in a place of peace. Where memories rise and tears unveil in deaths amazing release.
Tis time to bid a Queen good-bye, for a Queen is what our Mom shall be, but good-bye is only temporary, her spirit resides in thee.
On October 30, 1921 Icsolene Larosa (Green) Giscombe began her earthly journey in Sydney, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. She lived a life full of compassion, empathy and an abundance of love.
Mom left us on April 18, 2020 within the stillness of night where peace reigned infinitely.

BURNS, Jeanne Dorothy (nee KANE) - Jeanne passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at the age of 91.
Born along with her twin brother Joe in Stratford, ON in October 1928, she was the youngest of 9 children, raised by a strong, determined mother, Lillian Kane, who instilled a strong sense of family which guided Jeanne through life.
A deep connection to her siblings (Ruth, Ted, Red, Jeff, and especially sisters Mary and Pat) meant the Burns' house on Cranbrooke Ave. in North Toronto was a frequent gathering spot for family celebrations.
The Kane family move from Stratford brought Jeanne to Toronto where she attended Northern Secondary and began a long with career at Bell Canada.

WOOD, Colin Douglas - It is with great sadness that the family of Colin Douglas Wood announces his passing, after a brief illness, on Friday, April 17, 2020, at the age of 95 years.
Colin was born in Scarborough, in a house built by his father, where he lived with 4 sisters and a brother. He began work early in life and, by the age of 17, was employed by Underwood Typewriters, when he and a friend decided to volunteer for military duty during their lunch break. They did not get back to work that day.
